About:China Customs Declaration

Hello,

I am currently in China (the Guangdong province) and I did not bring my laptop from Canada with me. I have asked my parents to send it to me. Now we are left wondering if I have to pay any customs upon receival or not. It is my own laptop, previously used.

Thank you so much.

Hi, you need to pay certain duty fee if your laptop is sent to China but not brought by yourself.

Thanks for your quick answer. And do you know where I can find out how much I have to pay? I really don't know how that works. And do you have any idea how much it would be and when I have to pay it (upon delivery, before it or after)? Thanks so much.
