About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

I'm a Malaysian, Singapore PR, posted to China for 1-2 years period.I need to apply for Multiple Visa in Singapore b4 i land in China. Once in China, I can then apply for Work Permit which may take more than a month.
1. Is my understanding of the above information correct?
2. What is the max stay when holding Multiple Visa?

1. To apply for a Chian work visa in mainland China is not so easy as you do it in your home country, I advise you apply for the work visa in Singapore.
2. The duration of a multiple entry visa is at most 60 days for each entry.
