Since we are going to visit Jiayuguan we want to skip Great Wall in Beijing

I don’t think it’s a wise idea. The Badaling Great Wall is the most famous site in Beijing and really worthy of visit although Jiayuguan also has its distinctive features. If I were you, I will keep it in the itinerary.0
