hi! is it required to have a visa in going to shanghai or beijing? which city is near in going to great wall? would love to travel in your place sometime in november.

Maleen, early November is generally very pleasant in Shanghai, the temp is 10-19 C, and mostly dry conditions. The perfect time to enjoy this great city!  I usually try to avoid the mid summer and mid winter due to the temperature extremes.  I'm planning on being in Shanghai during this same time...and I know that I don't need to pack cold weather clothes.
