I plan a trip to visit China, especially Yangtze River around Jan 15, 2010. Please tell me is it the proper time?

I get that most of the cruise ships stop sailing in January due to the low water level and insufficient bookings, and the first sailing date should be in March. If possible, you’d better advance or postpone your tour date otherwise you will miss out the Yangtze part.
