About:Exit Regulations of China

I am going to China for two weeks next March to study Taijiquan with my Sifu's masters. I am told that I should leave my swords and staff at home, and that I will be able to buy weapons when I arrive. Will I be allowed to bring those purchased items back to the U.S.?

Hi, it is said that weapons can not be taken onto the plane. But as your weapon do not edge, right? I think it is ok to take them as a check luggage. You'd better consult your airline for sure.

Correct, the swords we use usually are unsharpened.
