Emergency! Need Help:

I am taking a tourist visa "L" to China to have an interview in Beijing. I am from Bangladesh, studied undergrad and worked in Beijing altogether 7 years. I would like to know how many days do I get from Tourist visa issued in Tokyo, Japan? Also can I extend that tourist visa in Beijing from the Immigration Bureau in Beijing and for how many MORE days?

I have no hotel booking since I will be living at my friend's place in Beijing. But have two-way air ticket and 6 months visa (Designated stay visa) in Japan.Do I need any more documents besides form paper and pictures.

it takes 4 working days for the Chian emabssy in Tokyo to issue a visa. You can extend th eduration of your visa from the public security bureau in Beijing who has the final say about the extended duration period according to the documents you submit.
If you are not Japanese, you will have to present your temporary residence permit in Japan or the valid record of your entry to Japan from the entry port.

Normally tourist L visas can be extended twice, 30 days for each time without your leaving China mainland.
