Hello,

What is the best area to stay in Hainan to enjoy the beach. A budget or mid range hotel would be nice. Also what is the best way to get to hainan from Guilin?

Is it easy to travel the island by public transport?

Hi, i would like to recommend you to stay in sanya.

There is no direct train from guilin to sanya. You can have a transfer. Actually, the air fare from guilin to sanya is quite cheap if you book a ticket from a travel agency as they will offer a big discount.
It is easy to travel by public transport there.
