About:Baggage Allowance for Chinese Domestic Flights

Hello,

I'm traveling to China in less than two weeks on Air China. I'm concerned about the weight limits for carry on bags, which on Air China is 5Kg ( 11 pounds ). I'll be flying economy so I can only take on one bag on the plane. This seems rather small compared to other airlines, like Air Canada which allows 10Kg. Does anyone know if a bag weighing slightly more than 5 Kg will be ok?

Thanks,

S
