About:Getting to Harbin

Hi, I am planning to come to Hong Kong in January and would like to travel to Harbin either by air or train. Could you give me ideas or suggestions on both and cost - the air ticket seems very expensive - which is why I am asking for an alternative travel method (ie train). I would like to travel from Harbin to Yabuli - to the ski resort, then to Changchun for a few days and from there back to either Shenzhen or Hong Kong.
Comments, help etc all appreciated. I do NOT want to travel by bus - but both air and train (sleeper) are acceptable. Any help with the times and costs would also be most appreciated.

Thank you.

The train (580HK$) from HK to Beijing takes about 35 hours and express train (386RMB)from Beijing to Harbin takes 9 hours at least. So, I think you'd better to take a flight~
