You can see the scenic spots in the web page. In deed, this is not a very hot destination. It is well-known as the hometown of Chairmen Mao. You can see relative sites and see the countryside landscape here.

There are pretty areas near the river and a park downtown where in the evenings people get together to listen to music or dance, quite tranquil. For the park just ask for the statue of a famous calligrapher. After midnight you can enjoy food cooked & served in the red tents near the bridge. Apart from that, I don't know but those were my personal experiences.
