About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Hi! I'm Malaysian and my wife is China citizen. Both of us working in Singapore. I would like to know can my son with Malaysia citizenship stay in China with his granparent for 2 yrs or maximum how long he can stay in China?? If yes, any documents for the application. Please advise.
