About:Embassy of Ghana in China

i am a student in south china university of technology (guangzhou).my resident permit was expired and my school gave me a form to renew it but it was changed to L visa instead of X visa so i told them it was a mistake and the emigration officer told me my school told them to do so because i have not yet paid my fees and now my fees is ready but the emigration officer says it can not be changed for me by them so i need to change from Ghana and my major is in progress i will lose much when i go back.can i get an X visa from the embassy please or what else can i do to prevent me from going back now?the permit will expire on 9th September,2009

you can go t change your visa from the office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chian in Hk SAR.

A normal visa procedure takes 4 workin gdyas, but you can request the express service of 1 working day or 2 working days by paying some additional fee.
The address of the office is:
7th Floor, Lower Block, China Resources Building,
No.26, Harbor Road, Wanchai
Open 09:00 to noon, and 14:00 to 17:00, Mon to Fri (except Hong Kong public holidays)

Mr. Robert, you need the following documents:
1.Your passport Applicant's passport with blank pages and at least 6 months validity left before expiration.
2.A truly and completely filled application form affixed with one passport-sized photo.
3.An admission notice from the Chinese school is required.
4.X Visa applicant shall also provide an approved Foreign Student Visa Application Form (JW101 or JW202) issued by the Chinese authorized unit.
5. Proof of enough money for your study in China.
6. If you will study in China for more than 6 months shall also provide a Physical Examination Certificate for Foreign Citizen.
As for the Hk visa, please contact the Immigration Department of by enquiry hotline at (852) 2824 6111 or by fax at (852) 2877 7711.
