About:International Trains from/to China

I was wondering if I can get a train from Guilin to Hanoi.If yes where can i purchase it? I will be arriving in Hong Kong .

From Guilin, you have to get yourself to Nanning. From there (Nanning) there is a daily train to Hanoi departing at 17.25 and arriving to Hanoi at 05.30. Soft sleeper is ~335 RMB. It stops twice, first in Pinxiang at 20.00 for chinese customs then again in Dong Dang at 23.30 for Vietnamese customs.
Alternatively you can take a morning bus for ~150 RMB, which takes around 7-8 hours.
