I'm planning to travel by train overnight from Beijing to Xi'an and two days after from Xi'an to Shanghai in October.Are there on this lines trains with 2-berth sleep compartments?If yes, could you tell me wich trains?Thank you.

I copy the reply to Mr.Dalton to you. Many persons have asked the same question before:As far as i know, only the train T43 has deluxe sleeper from Beijing to Xian which is a private compartment only for 2 persons. The price is around CNY780.00(I can not remember it exactly). The train runs every day. Hope it helps~_~Sep. 1,2009 09:32Ms.Nicole(CN) replied:Hello Mr.Dalton, there is no deluxe compartment on the train from Xian to Shanghai. For Shanghai to Hongkong, you may take T99. It costs RMB1050.00per person. But there might be some preferential price. You may contact the railway station or the ticket office to get the exact fare on the date you would travel. Good luck..
