About:East Nanjing Road

Hi Can you please tell me good shopping places in Shanghai which have reasonable prices.
Also can you suggest me a hotel close to South Shanghai railway station.My budget would be 30-40USD.

What kinds of goods are you looking for? Even in the prosperous Nanjing Road, you will find many reasonable shops, selling food, clothes and souvenirs. As for the hotel, you may consider the Jinjiang Inn-South Railway Station Branch, which is just 1.5kms to the railway station. I have stayed there last summer, the service and room were good.
