Anyone know if you need a health form check for a student visa for china?

Anyone know if you need a health form check for a student visa for china?I am a British national. Also does a student visa take longer to process than a tourist visa?

If you will study in Chian for over 6 months, you will need a health examination certificate for your visa application.
It takes the same time to process a student visa and a tourist visa.

The major and large public hospitals are accepted by the Chinese embassy.
