About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

hello, i am australian citizen, currently in taiwan for a holiday, and would like to visit my relatives in china. I will be flying to Hong Kong, is there anyone to apply chinese visa in taiwan, or i can only apply in HK.
if i can only apply in HK, how long will it usually takes. and do i to be there in person, or can i do so by post. Thank you!

I'm afraid you have to apply for the visa in Hk. It usually takes 4 working days to process a visa, but there is expedited service of one working day. You can apply it in person or through a travel agency.
