About:How to Take

planing to go to china around christmas time, initial planing taking train from xiamen to shanghai, and viseversa please advise the most cost effective way if taking the train. (i think soft seat will be fine), or any other form of traveling.thanks

I do not think take the soft seat travel between Shanghai and Xiamen is a good idea. There is only one train between the two places everyday, which lasts almost 24 hours. So the soft sleeper tickets will be better. If possible, taking flight is the best way. It only takes 1 hour and 20 minutes and the economy class airfare is CNY960. If you are lucky, you can get more discount on the airfare.

thank you very much. pls suggest place of interest if i have 8 days in either shanghai or beijing. I have two sons age 22 and 17. which city is most interest them? shanghai or beijing.
