can tickets be bought throug the internet nowadays?

You can not buy the tickets online directly from the railway station. But you may find a agency who provide this service. As you have the website, why don't you try?

Hi Mr. Cooper,

thank you for your reply - but that's obviously a missunderstanding. I do not know any website where to buy a ticket for the CR online. This website I mentioned was ment as example - it is the german railway-compmany called "Deutsche Bahn" or just "DB".

Oh, I am sorry. I guess in China it is hard to buy train tickets online, since buying train tickets itself is very inconvenient and not much profit to make, so not so much website will do that. If you will stay in a local hotel, you may ask the hotel to buy the tickets for you, or buy tickets at the railway station by yourself. Good luck and have a nice day.
