About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

I am currently in South Korea. I carry a US passport. I went to Xanadu travel agency in Itaewon and I was charged a total of 150,000 KRW for a 30-day tourist visa. I've been reading everywhere that the price for a 30-day single entry is the same as other multi-entry visas. I'm not sure, but I might come back to China within a year. When I asked the travel agent if I could get a different visa, she told me it would cost me an additional amount (220,000KRW for 1 year multi-entry. This does not fit with the descriptions I've read on various websites. Also, I'm wondering if the travel agency's service fee was too much (it exceeds 20,000 won according to this website). Should I file a complaint?
