Question

Hi.  My family will travel to Guilin/Yangshuo in late September.  We are 2 adults and 3 kids (ages from 9 to 15).  We would like to do fun, active things, as well as seeing some sights.  We would prefer not to change hotels if possible, and we do not like the very hard beds that are in some Chinese hotels.  Can someone advise on where to stay - can we just stay 4 nights in either Guilin or Yangshuo , or do we need to move, any suggestions on hotels?Also, suggestions for an itinerary for activities, and contacts for arranging a guide and car.Thanks.

You can have a cruise on the li River from Guilin to Yangshuo, admiring the scenery along the riverside. Local guide is not hard to find when you get there. To have a car is not simple. Perhaps you can find a travel agency there or book one in advance, which can easy help you deal with the guide ans van problem. If you want stay in Guilin. Yangshuo has more things to see than Guilin, I think. To spend one night there is a nice choice.

hi,I just done my trip for this two place with 3 day two nite with hotel cost RMB180 to 200 per nite for twin share with Mr.WOO help.Mr.Woo will be my personal driver from 7.00am to 7.00pm go where I wish to go within Guilin and Yangshuo with no extral charge.He even take me to try local food but not in the touris shop.Note.Hi, I just come back from Guilin-China 2 weeks ago.I discover the best way to move around in Guilin and Yangshuois having our own personal driver. This old man around age 50 isa license tour guide and not a commision base tour guide but work as part time.He have his own brand new car to move you aound Guilin and Yangshuo even can get you a cheap hotel rate that you can't get in internet.The fees for 2 day 1 nite isRMB400.00 per person in the car which inclusive all expenses on the road plus 2 time river cruise ride with small boat and fees to enter the Yangshuo culture garden.He even can drive you to other touris point that not include in the tour plan but must within Guilin and Yangshuo.Mr.Woo(Son)-English Speaking H/Phone:13977309680
