About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

I expect to be traveling to China within 15 days to take on a post as a Foreign Expert in Shandong Province, flying from Ottawa via Beijing to Qingdao. I have been told by a number of people that I could very likely be placed in quarantine for one week or more because Canada is considered an "epidemic zone" for H1N1. Can you tell me what the formal policy of the PRC is concerning this matter at this time? Basically, I need to know what the likelihood is that I will be placed in quarantine since it will affect my employer's proposed schedule for the start of my activities.
