About:Chinese Embassy in South Africa

I am a south African with a valid passport . I will be travelling to Hong Hong and then to visit a friend in Macoa for weeks only via the ferry . I do not plan to go anywhere else except back to Hong Kong and home .
Do I need to apply for a visa ?

South African passport holders are free of visa to Hong Kong and macau for 30 days.
