Hello,would you let me know if is possible to buy ticket for soft sleeper at the same day? I will arrive in the morning and the same day at the eveneing want to leave to Beijing (about twelve hours stay). Means have no hotel to ask for reservation in Shanghai! :o((Thanks Vaclav

there are many trains between Shanghai and Beijing. But as train tickets are always in great demands in China, it is hard to say if you can get an intraday one. It is better that you ask your friend or a agency to buy it in advance for you. Good luck.
