About:Miao Nationality

I would like to know the roots of Mong/Hmong come from and either Miao original, I understand that Hmong and Miao fimiliar but, do you know the word "Hmong" it mean?. hmong mean that no any cousin, no any relative and freedom.

well not exact but i heard that "hmong" meant free people.
