About:China Business Visa

Hi there, I was wondering if I can get a temporary residence permit with an F visa. I will be studying, and would like to live off campus if possible. Also I was wondering if I can convert it to a L Tourist Visa once I finish my studies as I am only stuying for 3 months, as I want to do some travelling outside of China, and then return back there? Thanks

I'm afriad that you can't get the temporary residence permit with an F visa, how many days you are permitted to stay in China after entry on your F visa? Convert F visa to L visa is impossible, you have to apply for a tourist visa when you return back to China.

Hi there, thanks for the reply. I was wondering how long it takes to get a Chinese visa processed in Cambodia? Also do I have to cancel my business visa before I can get a return tourist visa, or will it be automatically cancelled if I apply for one?

Usually it takes 4 working days, but you can use the express service if you are under tight schedule. Your F visa will be automatically cancelled after you get the L visa.
