We want to travel by car from Kashi, go along National Highway 315 to Dunhuang or Xining, then to Lanzhou.

I don't think it is a good idea to travel by car from Kashi to Lazhou. It would be a very long and tired journey all the way and there mightbe no decent restaurant or hotel along the drive from one place toanother. Safty first, you'd think about it a little bit more.0
