It is suggested that you ask for help from an international travel agency online or when you arrive in Yunnan. Usually, it could supply good English guide for you~ Good luck!

Dont ask international travel agency !!!
they charge you 100 US$ per Day. From which 10$ will stay with the guide, the rest stays with the rich who only do a phonecall to jinghong.
there are several very good guides in jinghong. go to a foreigner-cafe (mekong cafe, meimei, etc.) and ask them. boss of mekong cafe is a former top international china travel-guide and she has some good friends with similar standards.
1. its cheaper to book in jinghong
2. much more money stay with the locals
3. there will be a free guide any time since there are quite a lot
