Question

I will like to visit Shenzhen after my business trip in Zhongshan.  Will appreciate any advise on transportation option from Shenzhen to Zhongshan and back to Shenzhen.  What is the available mode and estimate cost?

Very easy to travel between these two cities by bus. The journey is 2.5 hours and 80RMB by bus:Shenzhen to Zhongshan: the Shenzhen Luohu Bus Station (close to Shenzhen Railway Station)operates buses to Zhongshan Bus Staton from 06:50 to 21:00 with an interval of about 25 minutes. Zhongshan to Shenzhen: please also take the bus at Zhongshan Bus Station. The buses depart frequently from 06:50 to 21:00, too.
