About:Potala Palace

A newly-built Treasure Hall at the Potala Palace is scheduled to be open to the public during the Golden Week of the National Day Holidays starting from October 1st, according to the Tibet Cultural Relic Bureau. Situated in the Zhol City at the foot of the Potala Palace, the three-storey Treasure Hall takes up about 2,000 square meters. The Treasure Hall consists of two sections for eight units. 200 sets of cultural relics and photos will be displayed in the hall. The Treasure Hall will charge admission fee but it won’t charge too much.

The information I got was that the Treasure Gallery of Potala Palace had already opened to the public since Aug. 11 ~
