About:Chinese Embassy in Germany

I have a US passport but currently living in Germany and working for US military. I need a visa to attend the Canton Fair in Guangzhou in October. Can I get a visa at the China Embassy in Berlin and do I need an appointment or can I go to the office and get a visa while I wait?
