good morning, as i know, validity of the visa is 9 days upon submition of visa

Question

Good morning, as i know, validity of the visa is 9 days upon submition of visa application form. Is that true?My departure date is 19th Aug, so can i apply today or tomorrow as it take 4 working days.And i will need to help my fren to submit his form as well and his departure date is 23th Aug (apply for multiple entry)..If i apply on the same date let's said today, will his Visa get expired?Please advice.Thanks

The validity of the China single or double entry visa is 90 days from the day of the issue, while the validity of the multiple entry visa is 6 month, i year or 2 years.
