About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

Hi I just tried to apply for visa in Malaysia. I am an Iranian doing my Ph.D in Malaysia. The officers in charge in China embassy told me that I cannot apply because my Student visa in Malaysia is valid for 2 months. I need to have 6 months visa in Malaysia. I have booked hotel and air ticket but I dont have enough time to extend my student visa.

Yes, you need to provide your valid visa in Malaysia with at least 6 months validity for the China visa application, or your application will be declined.
