About:Embassy of Botswana in China

what will happen to you if you are a student and lose your passport before you renew your visa?will you be deported or the embassy will help you sort out your things with the immigration?

You should report the loss as soon as possible to the local Police Station and your country's embassy or consulates in China. Your country's embassy or consulates in China will help you to get a new passport or other travel document.

but what if you have already reported to the police but your visa expires before your country's embassy helps you?for example,if the commisioner of the country you are in refuses to sign for you thus making it impossible to get a new passport.what should one do in this situation?

Under that situation, only your country's embassy or consulate in China could help you.
