About:Entry Regulations of China

Hello. I will be travelling to China (Shanghai, Nanjing, Beijing) at the end of August. How much RMB am I legally allowed to bring in. I will be in China for 2 weeks. Thank you.

20,000 is the limit. Besides, you can also bring 5,000 USD. Take a credit card is a goode choice i think.

Hi Michelle,

My parents will be traveling to China for about 5 weeks in October. So, I wanted to clarify . . . you can only bring 20,000 RMB and $5k in cash? Or can you bring all cash and if so, how much is the max? Thanks for your help.
