About:Foreign Embassies & Consulates in China

hello.I just want to ask if what are the important documents needed to comply a Certificate of Legal Capacity to Contract Marriage and how many months or years it will need to be process.Thank you.

You havce to submit the following certificate for the marriage certificate application.
?Both: Single Status Certificate Both: If applicable, finalised divorce papers or death certificate of ex-spouse for the widowed
?Both: Birth certificate
?Together: Three official style photos of the couple together – shops doing visa photos do these and know the required format
?Together: The fee
?Chinese person: Household registration book (hukou)
?Foreigner: Passport
The event normally takes well under one hour, sometimes as little as 15 minutes.
