About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

do you have to go to the embassy to apply for visa, if it is a tourist visa. Can you do it by post??

Hi Will... Check this page. http://ie.chineseembassy.org/eng/Consular/AboutVisa/t112836.htm It is updated since 16th Dec 2008 so should be correct. At the bottom it says that post is not available due to the amount of problems.
