I am a Danish citizen.My wife lives and work in China (Shenzhen). What type of visa do I need for staying in China for 6 months (Oct 09-Apr10)?RegardsAllan Carstensen

L visa consits of two kinds, one is for tourism, the other is for family visit, so you can apply for L visa, please write your planned stay duration in China, the visa officials will decide whether issue it or not. If you are unlucky, only get a L visa permitting 30 days stay duration, you can apply for extension in local Public Security Office after arrival.
