According to our flight schedule, our international flight will arrive early in Beijing. We have to stay at the airport for almost 5 hours on the way to Shanghai. Therefor if there was a short trip for aprox. 2 hours going from the airport, we would like to be on the trip sightseeing tour in Bejing.

5 hours is quite a long time to wait at the airport. While I still kindly suggest you wait there, since boarding procedure is more complicated than before. It takes more time if you arrival flight and departure flight are not in the same terminal building. Besides, there is a possibility that international flight might be late.
