About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

I am a male Singaporean. I would like to tour China for 3 to 4 months on haversack (shoe-string trip). How can I get a 6 months L-visa if I never show proof of hotel bookings. I can show a return air ticket.

Firstly, the validity of a single entry visa is only three months; secondly, hotel booking in China is necessary for visa application.
