About:Xiamen Dining

About the vegetarian restaurants: what is vegetarian fish? Is this a soy-based substitute or do they consider fish and seafood to be "vegetarian"? (I'm moving to Xiamen with my family next month--two of us are vegetarian but also don't speak Mandarin!)

Yes, you are right. It just like the Su Ji (vegetarian chicken) we called is make of soy bean curd. Of course, they make also make of flour or other materials.
