Question

I have read that the monsoon season ends October. I am visiting Taiwan at the mid of October this year. Will my trip be affected a lot and may have to stay indoors? Will it be a rainy season as well?I plan to go up Alisan Mountain, how cool the weather can be at night ? what's the temparature like at the mountain top ?

There is few typhoon (which is also rainy season) happend in Octorber so you don't have to worry about it too much. The weather in the mountain area maybe cooler especially at night, the temperature should be around 20C degrees. You'd better pay attention to the real-time weather forecast when you arrive in Taiwan.
