Also are mosquito's and malaria a problem in big tourist cities in China during Summer?

In summer, house mosquitoes are common. However, malaria is not a problem in major cities in China. Anyway, you'd better take mosquito repellant and also consult your doctor to take vaccinations if necessary before you enter China.
