Is it true that getting a Tourist China Visa is tough this time especially for first time travellers to China? Two way air Tickets and hotel reservation arent good enough as requirements to apply tourist visa in China? what are the other options? Thanks..YOUR reply would be a great help...

You also need to provide proof of the applicant's financial standing, e.g. bank statements, savings accounts passbooks, tax receipts, etc. and proof of employment (if any), e.g. company leave letter, salary slips, etc.If the China embassy requires those documents, you don't other choice rather than to provide them, or you are not able get the visa.
