About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

I am offered an internship with a magazine in Beijing and need to apply for a business (F) visa, what would i need? I know i need an invitation letter from the company, but i dont understand about the Visa notification letter from the chinese government, what is that?
Also, I will be going for 4 months but intend to stay in china and leave only after my internship, so which visa should i apply for? single-entry?

You can ask the company in Beijing to provide you the visa notification letter which is issued by Bejing Foreign Affairs office. A single entry F visa for you is ok.
