There are different voices about his death. Some say he died of illness, while others say he was murdered. It is said that a peasant found some pottery warrior pieces while he was digging a well.

He was poisoned by Mercury pills that his court physicians fed him.
These pills were supposed to make him 'immortal'.
But it is said he died on a tour through Eastern China

he died whilst travelling through East China on a tour. He died from poisoning. When he was looking for the elixir of life his scientists made a concoction for him, sadly this contained high quantaties of mercury and he died from it later in life.

Two farmers discovered his tomb whilst digging a well. They saw a warrior and told people and the news spread and all the archaeoligist - sorry i might have spelt it wrong- came to the area and so yea..... now its a massive tourist attraction and those poor farmers got nothing at all.

Hope you have a great day !
