About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

May I ask the requirements I need to apply for the visa to spend 10 days with my fiance's family in Shanghai?

Good Afternoon.. My fiance invited me to come with him in Shanghai to spend 10 days with his family before we get marry. This is my first time to apply for a visa and he has already bought our tickets. May I ask the requirements I need to apply for the visa?.. and what is the percentage of the embassy approving my visa?.. I'm a bit afraid they will deny the application because my fiance has already bought the tickets.. Thank you.

Don't worry. It is not so difficult to get a tourist visa to China.
You can just go to the China embassy or consulate near to you with the following documents:
1. Your passport with blank pages and at least 6 months validity left before expiration.
2. A truly and completely filled application form affixed with one passport-sized photo.
3. Round-trip air ticket
4. Hotel reservation( if you will stay in your fiance's home, ask him to write an invitation letter with his valid address and contacts in China for you).
