About:China Visa

My fiance is working in Beijing through December. I was hoping to visit him in September/October for two weeks. I understand there may be Visa restrictions around that day because of the 60th anniversary. Is there validity to this? Will I have difficulty, as an American traveling to China at this time?

There will be more restricts for visa application then, so I advise you visit your fiance in other time. However, if you have fixed the trip, you can have a try.
