Hi - I'm a British businessman working in Germany (for a Germany company) at the moment, and need to get a visa to make a visit to China in 30 days time.  Can I apply via the german office, or will I need to apply via the UK?

You can apply for visa through the China embassy or consulates in Germany if you can show the certificate of your legal status in germany, such as valid German visa, residence permit
